A recipe sharing platform that allows users to search, create and share recipes from anywhere in the world
The Problem
Many people are looking for recipes that fit their unique tastes, and they also like to share their cooking ideas and get feedback. However, most apps lack the ability to share recipes, as well as a convenient filtering system, making it difficult to find and interact.
The Goal
Unite the culinary community of different countries, where everyone can not only find and save interesting recipes, but also share their culinary creativity.
Research
Discover the problem
First, I needed to find out exactly how people search for and select dishes. I conducted several small interviews with people who frequently use the internet to search for recipes to find out what is key for people in this process. I also analyzed comments from similar apps to understand users' pain points and goals.
Key findings
• Functional search is the basis of the application
• Recipe evaluation plays a crucial role in the selection process
• Filters should take into account body characteristics and tastes
Competitive Analysis
Before attempting to address the issue, it was crucial to thoroughly examine the existing application and conduct an evaluation to identify and measure any usability concerns.
Happy path
In this phase, I have created a "happy path" that provides the fastest and most efficient way for users to achieve their desired outcome.
Prototype
After completing the research, I used my findings to create prototypes.
